"On a Dreamland's Moon" Recitation by Morgan Scorpion

I was quite surprised yet honored when Julia Morgan asked if she could recite my poem, "On a Dreamland's Moon," for her YouTube channel (Morgan Scorpion).

Her voice lends an ethereal quality to the story that instantly captivates your attention.  Her channel is brimming with years worth of delectable recitations from weird and horror masters such as Clark Ashton Smith, H.P. Lovecraft, and Edgar Allan Poe to beloved contemporaries like Richard Gavin and John Linwood Grant.  I am honored to join these fine storytellers on her channel.

For a deeper look into "On a Dreamland's Moon", author Bobby Derie wrote an analysis of it on his blog, Deep Cuts in a Lovecraftian Vein: The Undiscovered Mythos.

You can find “On A Dreamland’s Moon” in Black Wings VI: New Tales of Lovecraftian Terror (2017), as well as in my first poetry collection, Diary of a Sorceress.

Small Steps: Eligible Rhysling Poems

In an attempt to refocus on my writing this year, I've decided to take the time to upload some Rhysling-eligible poems for the SFPA for 2025.  Granted, it was minimal (only 6 poems), but it's still something.  The fact that I was able to publish anything at all last year was a feat in itself.

Here is a list of the poems that were published in 2025 and are eligible for the short form category (also found in my Bibliography with links):

Invoking Winter- Winter Solstice 2025 Issue by Eternal Haunted Summer

Mirror of Medusa- Weirdbook Magazine Issue 49 by Wildside Press

Beauties Buried in Porcelain- The Phantomicon: Imaginings & Images of Ghosts by Mind's Eye Publications

In Twilight Dances- King in Yellow 2025 by Weird Fiction Quarterly

The Fields of Asphodel-  Ghosts 2025 by Weird Fiction Quarterly

Bedeviled Kiss- Spectral Realms No. 22 by Hippocampus Press

If anyone would like to read them and is a member, they are uploaded to the SFPA submission page.

In other news, all the art (by the incredible Mutartis Boswell) for Diary of a Vampyress is almost all finalized and placed.  I expect it should be ready to go to print soon, though there is no date as of yet.
